BSAP: Black Student Achievement Plan

Black Student Achievement Mantra

"Successful Black student achievement is defined by high academic performance, strong social-emotional awareness and management, and positive cultural identity. Furthermore, strategies and methods utilized to cultivate these things  shall due in large to the historic and ongoing social and economic conditions experienced by Black people." - Dr. George McKenna, Board Member

Individual Student Success Plan (ISSP)

As part of BSAP, we have created our Individual Student Success Plan (ISSP), a plan developed in collaboration with students, parents and the school team. The ISSP addresses each student’s needs and interests to help them stay connected to the school community and to achieve post-secondary educational and career goals. The plan is aligned with the LAUSD board approved BSAP student success metrics.
