Academic Programs

School Readiness Language Development

This is an oral language program for preschoolers. Goals for the child include listening with understanding, speaking effectively, and using a wide range of vocabulary appropriately in the syntax of standard English. Children who enroll must be four years old by December 2nd of the current school year. Students attend classes Monday - Friday for 2 hours and 20 minutes. Parents are required to participate in parent education sessions, attend meetings monthly and volunteer in the classroom.
 

Gifted and Talented Education

The GATE program offers a more challenging, in-depth, and faster-paced curriculum for identified third, fourth and fifth grade students.

Special Education

In addition to our special education teachers, a school psychologist, oral language teacher, speech teacher, adapted P.E. teacher,
and other resource specialists are on staff to provide services to identified students.
